The 52 Perfect Movies series is something I've really been enjoying doing for Nate Yapp's Cinema Geek. And The Wrong Man is certainly a film that's had a profound effect on me since I first saw it a few years ago. Fonda and Miles are excellent, and of course, it's Hitchcock, so what more needs to be said?B-Solhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10717121313061173603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4816394122569768359.post-88081333529965658482010-05-24T17:22:01.748-07:002010-05-24T17:22:01.748-07:00Hi! B-Sol,
I discovered this (your) blog while lurking over there on Trixietreats.( I plan to link to both of your blogs.)

Now, to your review...Oh! yes, I have watched Hitchcock's The Wrong Man twice. Therefore, I must revisit this film again!

By the way, in "film noir circles" it's consider one of the darkest of film noir.

According to the author of the book (Dark City) Spencer Selby, "New York musician life is virtually destroyed because he resemble a holdup man.
One of the best films ever made on the popular noir theme of a man falsely accused of a criminal act."
Thanks, for sharing this very detailed, review of Hitch's The Wrong Man. (I have to agree with you, about actor Henry Fonda's performance and actress Vera Miles, turned in quite a convincing performance too!)
DeeDee ;-Dratatouille's archiveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06369967577590947967noreply@blogger.com
